Happy Easter

This is what happens to cute easter chicks when they spend too much time sat at the cake counter....
And this is our new tablecloth fabric. Very summery and pretty, I thought.

It's been a big hit with the customers and has made the inside of the cafe feel all bright and cheery.

That print is lovely for a table cover, and the chicks are cute (though perhaps a bit drunkled?!)

Have a good Easter. x

Oooh, VERY nice fabric. Where did Madam purchase it from?

I've been propping up my poor easter chicks - they kind of lol about in a drunken manner against the edge of vases and plates in this house.

Oh my, it sounds like you have the life I want! Out of interest - how did you begin with starting your own cafe? Any tips? I REALLY want to do this but with no money and no clue, I'm not sure where to start! I do have experience waitressing though and love cooking so I'm thinking maybe some sort of catering/business course?

I now have to go out and buy some cake...yours look fantastic!
Luckily I had too much Guiness last night, so I'm not tempted to add a can to my list.
The chicks on our Easter table, were still in a fluffy, dishevelled huddle with a half eaten chocolate cow when I last saw them, so it's nice to know they have some solidarity with likewise exhausted baby birds!
